Sally and Richard Hendrickson – Utah CEO and Daughter Dead after Bulldozer Falls Onto their Vehicle

Richard David Hendrickson and his daughter, Sally, have been identified as the two people killed after a bulldozer fell on top of their vehicle.

The accident occurred around 12:49 p.m. local time Saturday when “a tow truck carrying a mini bulldozer” lost control while negotiating a curve.

The bulldozer was ejected off the truck and fell on the GMC pickup carrying Hendrickson and the daughter.

Hendrickson and Sally were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other adult passengers were left with non-life-threatening injuries.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic and sudden passing of our CEO and President, Richard David Hendrickson, in a car accident today in Ogden Canyon,” Lifetime Products said in a statement.

“This heartbreaking incident also claimed the life of one of his daughters, Sally,” the statement added.

Hendrickson was described by the Lifetime Products statement as “more than a company leader.”
“He was … a visionary and a friend to many within our business and the wider community,” it said, in part. “His ability to connect with people bound all of his other talents together in a very special way.”
