As expected, Precious sailed through the season and made it to the grand finale.

Precious Mac, and Victoria Gbakara emerged as the two finalists for Nigerian Idol season 8.

This was announced during the live show on Sunday, July 9th 2023 by the host, Ik Osakioduwa.

The two contestants secured more votes from viewers than Quest, leading to her eviction from the event.

As revealed by the show host, 32 million votes were received for the week. He also disclosed that 132 million votes were cast so far in the season.

On the finale show held Sunday, July 16th 2023, Precious Mac was defeated by Victory Gbakara, ending the show in second position.

Precious Mac Sisters

Precious Mac sisters are Naomi and Faith Mac. Both are former contestants on Nigerian Idol.

Naomi Mac is a talented singer who started singing in the church at a very young age. She has featured popular Nigerian musicians like Adekunle Gold in one of her songs “MY HEART”. She also collaborated with Pheelz on “ORI MI”.

Naomi Mac was first runner up on Nigerian Idol in 2015.

She married her sweetheart Francesco John in 2017 in a highly publicized wedding in Lagos State. The couple is blessed with a female child named Arabella who is 2 years old.
