Noor Baheej, 31, of Portland has been charged with manslaughter, amongst others, for killing a man on Friday on the Steel Bridge.
One man was pronounced dead after a stabbing at the Steel Bridge in Portland Friday.
At 1:13 p.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing on the pedestrian path of the bridge.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who was seriously hurt.

Officers attempted to control the bleeding with a tourniquet until EMS arrived and conveyed the man to an area hospital.
He later died.
Noor Baheej was named as the prime suspect Saturday after a connected incident.
Just after 10:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of a man threatening another man with a knife in the area of Northwest 3rd Avenue and Northwest Davis Street.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a man matching the description of Baheej walking towards Northwest Flanders Street and arrested him.
After investigating the incident, they connected Noor M. Baheej to the Steel Bridge stabbing.
Police believe the suspect and the victim were fighting when Baheej stabbed him in the leg with a knife.
He was booked into Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of manslaughter, unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct.
