Nandipha Magudumana, Thabo Bester’s alleged wife who evidently helped him escape prison custody, has reportedly gone into hiding following his escape being confirmed.

eNCA reporter, Silindelo Masikane, revealed this in a post online.

“[EXCLUSIVE] Nandipha Magudumana’s father tells me he’s worried about his daughter who told him she’s in hiding. the popular doctor was living and in a relationship with Facebook rapist #ThaboBester,” she tweeted.

As at press time, the report had yet to air, but Nigeriabombshell.com would update this page immediately it does.

Meanwhile, Nandipha’s brother, who had exposed her dangerous relationship with Bester previously, has also gone into hiding with his family.

Nkosinathi Sekeleni is in hiding and said that he fears for his life after his Facebook post about Bester resurfaced.

He has also reportedly told the South African police service (SAPS) that he is willing to tell them what he knows about Bester and his sister’s relationship in exchange for his safety.

At the weekend, the Department of Correctional Services confirmed that the convict escaped from the Mangaung private correctional facility in May last year and hadn’t died as was initially reported.

Bester, who was convicted for two rapes and murders between 2011 and 2012, allegedly preyed on young women, leading them to believe that he ran a media company.

In his Facebook post from over a year ago, Sekeleni revealed his sister Magudumana’s links to Bester, claiming that he used her medical practice to launder money.

He said that Magudumana laid a defamation charge against him but later withdrew it.

Sekeleni said that his relationship with his sister had since recovered but he also said that following the recent reports by GroundUp, which reported first on Bester’s escape, he feared for his life.

I’m willing to give any information I can give to guarantee my protection and especially that of my family, I don’t care about myself but about my family, especially my four-year-old son, who can’t even go to school because of what is happening.” he said.

Nadi Magudumana Recruited New Victims for Thabo Bester

Nandipha Magudumana, the celebrity doctor wife of Facebook rapist Thabo Bester allegedly promoted a company recruiting new victims for the notorious criminal.

This was revealed by social media users after messages from Arum Holdings, a company linked to Dr Nandipha Magudumana, sent out messages attempting to recruit ladies for a ‘marketing campaign’ and Netflix show.

One of the supposed victims came out to reveal the messages she received, after which social media users dug up Dr Nandipha advertising for the company.

Twitter user Kheabetswe Khutsoane, a Researcher and Coordinator for Global Health/ Social Medicine Development dedicated to strengthening citizen action & civil society around the world (according to her bio) revealed receiving a series of messages from Arum Holdings, a company linked to Bester and Magudumana.

The messages, sent to her from a third party, attempted to recruit the person for a gig with hefty promises, which is Thabo Bester’s acknowledged modus operandi for luring his victims.

Good morning, we are currently running out social media and marketing campaign and we would like to partner with you in being one of our partners on our marketing strategy.

We also have a new TV show called Hot property chick on Netflix coming soon,” the messages read.

Keabetswe shared the photos with the caption: “A joke my darling 💀 Hot chicks? @netflix Do y’all know about this?”

Following her post, a netizen in the comment section shared screengrabs of Dr Nandipha Magudumana advertising for Arum Holdings.

Thabo Bester’s alleged partner, who apparently is now helping him recruit, quickly deleted her posts on Arum Holdings after being exposed.

In the same comments section, a South African dietician known as Palesa narrated a scary encounter she had with notorious Facebook r*pist and escaped convict, Thabo Bester.

Dietician Palesa in a post on her Twitter handle revealed Bester, using an alias after his prison escape, tried to recruit her for a modelling gig.

She said they met in her office after and she turned him down, but is now shaken to realise she met the infamous and dangerous Bester.

Thabo Bester was sentenced to life imprisonment for rap*ng and murdering a ton of women.

He lured them into his dangerous traps with promises of modelling gigs, then r*ped and in some instances murdered them.

After being sentenced to life in prison at the Mangaung Correctional Centre., Bester reportedly burnt to death in a fire in April 2022.

However, a mystery emerged in recent weeks when photos emerged of a gentleman alleged to be Bester, shopping at Sandton City with his alleged wife, Dr Nandipha Magudumana.

That sparked the recent interest in his story, leading Kheabetswe Khutsoane to reveal receiving a series of messages from Arum Holdings, a company linked to Bester and Magudumana.

Dietician Palesa revealed her encounter with Thabo Bester in the comments to that tweet, which occurred in August/September 2022, a full 3/4 months after police claimed he burned to death.

She wrote: “This guy actually came to my office for our meeting (after I got calls from different people asking me to meet up with him) and he mentioned so many things that did not make sense (photoshoots, international trips and something to do with property shoots etc) I could see that something was off and he also could tell that I am not buying his story.

“He concluded by saying “I don’t think this opportunity will work for you since you work full time and are a professional” then left He had the same shades as seen on the picture with his hair like that. My office has CCTV footage, I hope they can be able to send me one for that specific day (this happened last year around aug/sep )”

She added in a 2nd tweet: “It actually scared me yesterday that I met this man face to face. He came to my office and we had a good 20mins meeting. Yes it’s a very safe space with good security and cameras everywhere but I had no idea who the guy was. It’s only when I saw this pic and was like where do I know him from? So so scary,”

Per these revelations, it appears Thabo Bester is back to his old ways, recruiting models for his nefarious purposes – and his wife Nandipha is certainly helping him out!

Who is Dr Nandipha Magudumana?

Nanadipha Magudumana is a 33-year-old South African medical doctor who is infamous as the partner of Facebook rapist, Thabo Bester.

Dr Magudumana is the Founder of Optimum Medical Solutions and Vitapush (IV Nutrition Therapy).

She was born in a small village known as Bizana in the Eastern Cape. She grew up in a small sleepy town called Port Edward where she attended Port Edward Primary School.

She completed her High School education at Port Shepstone High School, showing interest in sports and cultural activities – particularly hockey where she need up representing the province of KwaZulu Natal.

Nanipha has always been passionate about medicine. Her high School was next door to the provincial hospital and being part of the Leo cultural club, visits to the hospital gave her great exposure to the hospital life and herkeen interest in medical field saw her working at the local pharmacy from the age of 15.

Nandi worked on weekends and school holidays.

She is a mom to two beautiful children, Aziza and Ayana.

Her hobbies included travelling, photography, health & fitness, reading, fashion and spending time with her family.

Dr Nandipha named on Mail & Guardian 2020 list

After a successful career running Optimum Medical Solutions, she was profiled by the Mail and Guardian as one of the Healing women of 2020.

“Dr Nandipha Magudumana is the founder of Optimum Medical Aesthetic Solutions, a surgery that provides affordable cosmetic surgery treatments, and is an advocate for women’s safety and medical careers,” the publication wrote.

She received a number of accolades and recognition for this, including a spot on 2018’s Mail & Guardian 200 Young South Africans list. Magudumana holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), both from Wits.

Optimum was initially a venture to raise money to further her studies, and ended up opening opportunities for other black women in the medical services space. Attracting hundreds of clients from all over Africa, the practice has evolved. “We’ve seen more women of colour enter the field, which is wonderful, as we’d like more physicians to be aware of this growing field,” says Magudumana. “Also, there’s an undeniable shift in the industry, as millennials are changing the face of aesthetic medicine. In the world of Instagram, filters, selfies and Zoom, there’s a hyper-awareness around appearances. They’re probably the generation that has spent the most time looking at themselves in history.”

Optimum has now also branched out into pharmaceuticals, in addition to dermatology and plastic surgery, providing a vital service for many. “Choosing a career where you can inspire confidence and happiness in others was what attracted me to this field,” she said in 2018. “Medical aesthetics is a field for people who are truly passionate about what they do, because you help people look and feel good about themselves.”

Her efforts don’t end there, though — another cause close to her heart is the fight against gender-based violence. “In partnership with other women, we formed a platform called Conversations with Women, which brings women together to discuss issues they are facing in the country,” she says. “Gender-based violence in our communities and country as a whole has reached an alarming rate. As members of society, we can no longer tolerate and normalise the ‘unsafety’ of women.”

Among Magudumana’s greatest career accomplishments is the expansion of Optimum Medical Aesthetic Solutions. “Within a year, we were able to move the practice to the wealthiest square mile in Africa: Sandton. We were able to create even better office space to service my clients.” Naturally, she’s a champion for women too — those of colour, and her peers in the medical field, in particular.

Dr Nandipha Magudumana is the celebrity wife of convicted Facebook rapist Thabo Bester.

She is 32 years old, originally from Port Edward in KZN. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (BHSc) in Biomedical Sciences, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), both from Wits University.

Magudumana runs a cosmetics surgery company called Optimum Medical Aesthetic Solutions. She has 124,000 Instagram followers and was named one of the Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans in 2018.

As to why she started Optimum Medical Solutions, Magudumana says it was mainly to get capital to help her study further and also to help other black women to enter the medical services market.

‘I saw there was a need for African people, especially black women, to enter the medical services market. There aren’t many African black women in this industry, I thought it was important that we start entering this market and educate our people about it, ‘ she told Business Report in a recent interview.

After her ‘husband’ Thabo Bester the Facebook rapist was supposedly killed in a fire in prison in 2022, Nandipha Magudumana, claimed the body from the mortuary shortly after the fire. But after the autopsy, the police confiscated the body for further investigations. A woman who said she is Bester’s biological mother then tried to claim the body, but her DNA did not match the body’s.

She took the body to a mortuary in Soweto, but it was confiscated by police upon instruction from the investigating officer in Mangaung. Further investigations were then conducted on the body.

Magudumana approached the Pretoria High Court on 19 May, requesting that the body be returned to her. She also asked the court for a declaratory order entitling her to bury Bester. The court has not yet made a final ruling on the matter.

In her founding affidavit, Magudumana argued that as Bester’s customary law wife, she had the burial rights, and indicated that she wanted an independent autopsy to be conducted to determine the cause of death. She also claimed the police had threatened and intimidated her.

She gave a full account of her relationship with Bester and lobola negotiations which resulted in them becoming married under customary law.

But Magudumana’s affidavit did not mention that she had been in a civil marriage with another man since 2013, and is still registered as such on Home Affairs’ database. Under customary law, marriages are not allowed if one party is already married under civil law.

Magudumana said in her affidavit that her father and assistant had been detained by police when trying to collect the body from the mortuary in Soweto. “It pains me to see my late husband’s body being moved around like a pauper,” she said.

She also claimed that she had met Bester in 2006 while studying at Wits University. They had a good relationship until they lost contact in 2011. She reached out to Bester in 2017 to “rekindle our relationship” and started visiting him in prison.

“Whenever he had any concerns and/or problems and any issues in prison, I was the only person who would communicate with lawyers to try and resolve those issues,” she said. She also said that she would regularly pay money into his prison account and that Bester proposed to her in February 2020.

Magudumana claimed that Bester’s mother died while he was young and that he was raised by his grandmother. “I do not know any relatives of the deceased that are still alive,” she said.
