Mr Ibu’s daughter-lover Jasmine was allegedly planning to japa out of Nigeria with the actor’s son using money raised for his recovery.
That’s according to an insider with details who exposed them to gossip blogger, Cutie Juls, following the arrest of Ibu’s daughter and elder sons.
News reports from Nigeria Wednesday confirmed that Jasmine, who is allegedly Mr Ibu’s daughter but apparently also his lover, had been arrested alongisde his sons.
The arrest was allegedly effected by Mrs Ibu who has been fighting that faction over the donations raised for the actor who is currently seriously sick in bed with his leg amputated.
Amidst his sickness, Mr Ibu’s daughter and wife have been fighting over the donations with both sides accusing the other of embezzlement.
Following the arrest of Jasmine and Ibu’s sons, Actress Doris Ogala popped up with her verion of events.
She wrote: “Jasmine and Ibu’s sons arrested at Alagbon police station…they are detained there,”
She later added: “Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account.
“Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments…that’s why she arrested Jasmine.
“But investigation states that the money contributed so far is not even up to 300 million. Nawa oo,”
Reacting to all this, a source who claimed insider knowledge exposed Jasmine’s plans.
They alleged that she’s gotten married to one of Ibu’s sons and the duo are planning to japa with the donations.
“Best News ever , Jasmine said Ibu is his father but went to court and did court marriage with Ibu’s son and did visa for both of them and her son,” the source said.
They later added: “They were planning to japa with the money Nigerians contributed that’s why she doesn’t want Ibu’s wife to have access to the money,”
Meanwhile, Emeka Chochoo, the former manager of Mr Ibu, has disclosed why the actor’s adopted daughter, Jasmine, and two of his sons, Daniel and Val, were invited by the police.
Chochoo confirmed that all the three persons were invited by the police over the actor’s account.
“Yes, they were all invited by the police. I won’t call it arrest; the police invited them over Mr Ibu’s account,”
“I have not been able to reach any of them,” Chochoo said.
When contacted for her comment, Ibu’s wife declined.
“Please, I do not want to say anything about it, please,” she said before ending the call.
