Khosi Big Brother Titans is a South African journalist and reality television star who was the first-ever winner of the reality show BBTitans

Khosi’s real name is Makhosazane Twala. The 25-year-old gained notoriety after being announced as one of the initial 20 housemates for the first season of Big Brother Titans reality show on 15th January 2023.

Khosi BBTitans is a South African journalist, model, fitness guru and reality television star popular for starring on and winning the very first edition of Big Brother Titans.

Khosi’s real name is Makhosazane Twala. She was born on August 10th, 1997 to her parents in Newcastle in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province of South Africa but currently resides and works in Johanessburg in Gauteng province.

She attended Lincoln Heights Secondary School between 2011 and 2015.

Khosi is a 3-time graduate – she began her tertiary education at the University of the Free State in 2016 where she graduated, before later joining Oakfields College for a degree in Communications Science.

Khosi completed her postgraduate studies at the University of Johannesburg in 2021 in Strategic Communication and Media Studies.

The 25-year-old entered Big Brother Titans for two simple reasons – fame and money. According to her, she needs the fame and the money isn’t bad as well.

Khosi rose to prominence after appearing in and starring on season 1 of BBTitans, subtitled Ziyakhala Wahala, the newly introduced version of Big Brother in Africa starring South African and Nigerian housemates.

The young journalist has been installed as the prohibitive favourite for the show’s $100,000 cash prize as she remains at the centre of everything that happens on the show.

Prior to appearing on Big Brother, Khosi worked as a professionally trained journalist, model, beauty queen and fitness enthusiast.

Khosi has competed in beauty pageants in the past including the Biogen Face of Wellness in 2020, Miss Superb Worldwide South Africa 2021, and Miss Free State SA 2017. She finished second in the Miss Free State competition in 2017.

The very first-ever housemate of Big Brother Titans, Khosi is a 25-year-old journalist, broadcaster, and self-confessed adventurer from South Africa.

Khosi said prior to the show that she is single but open to romantic relationships while on the show. However, she later told housemates that she has a boyfriend on the outside who is her handler.

Despite her claim, Khosi has been dating Nigerian housemate, Yemi Cregx, since the show started, whilst maintaining a love interest in fellow South African housemate, Thabang.

“I joined Big Brother because I want quick fame,” Khosi said before quickly clarifying she’s kidding.

“The money is good, I could use some dollars but also I think it’s time to just push myself and try something else. Being a journalist is something I’ve wanted since the age of 8 and the fact that I’ve achieved it and wake up every day to be a journalist is just insane but it has also shown me that the world is so much bigger and anything is possible,”

Khosi said she won’t be a good or bad housemate but a ‘decent’ housemate. She also promised to play the ‘dumb’ blonde stereotype whilst actually being smart and a force in the house.

She described herself as more of a peacemaker than a troublemaker – but not a saint.

“If you deserve fire then fire shall come to you,” she said.

Khosi said she will win the show because she’s unique, real and very authentic and she knows people would love and relate very well to her.

“Nothing compares to this,” she added.

The South African has been paired with Nigerian housemate Chinedu Okafor-Paul, popularly known as Miracle OP, in the new format for BBTitans introduced by Big Brother.

The pair is known as Khosicle.
