In a lengthy rant on her Instagram account, Monique alleged that Katlego has not been paying their son’s school fees.

She also accused the Deal Or No Deal presenter of ‘economic abuse’ – similar to allegations Nigerian socialite Sophia Momodu had made against her baby daddy, popular singer Davido.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Katlego Maboe ex wife Monique slammed him for refusing to pay 100% of their son’s school fees.

She wrote: “Are there any other 6 figure earning fathers refusing to pay their kids school fees? Cause this is a topic I feel we need to discuss.

“ Because it really be the celebs Y’all fight for… that pleads poverty when it comes to taking care of their kids. And literally willing to let their child go without education. But plays father of the year,”

She added: “Maybe Deal or No deal can donate some funds there lol- I can forward the schools banking details. Or his fans willing to donate?”

In IG Stories that followed, Monique alleged that Katlego had insisted their son attend a top private school in Cape Town. yet wanted her to foot half of the bill when he very well knew that she could not afford.

She continued: “You earn ten times more than your baby mama. So, paying school fees in full would not affect your pocket. But you insist that half of her salary must go to school fees (we see this all the time with financial abuse in maintenance courts”.

Monique further alleged that Katlego was “hiding” his multiple income streams.

The battle between Katlego Maboe and Monique Muller is not ending anytime soon – and to think it started so well for them!

What happened between Katlego and his ex wife?

Monique Muller is the ex wife and baby mama of popular South African presenter Katlego Maboe.

Katlego Maboe and Monique had a loving and adoring relationship, having started dating in 2018 and even welcomed a son, Phoenix, together.

However, Maboe’s career came crashing down after a video of him arguing with his then-girlfriend and baby mama Monique Muller went viral.

Initially, an Instagram story posted by Seth Muller, Monique’s younger brother, saw him accusing Katlego of cheating on his sister multiple times.

Four days later, a video of Katlego Maboe and his ex wife arguing was leaked online.

In the video, Maboe admits to cheating on Muller, and she accuses him of domestic abuse. Maboe denies the allegations of domestic abuse, but admits that he has made mistakes in his relationship with Muller.

The video quickly went viral, and Maboe was fired from Expresso the following day. He also lost several sponsorship deals, and was even the subject of a #CancelKatlegoMaboe campaign on social media.
