The real name of Janemena is Usiwo Orezinena Jane. Janemena is her professional name which she uses in her career as a dancer and on social media.

Jane was initially a socialite, mingling in high-class social circles to build acquaintances.
It wasn’t until later that she built her dance skills.

Jane Mena received admission to the Delta State University after completing her basic and secondary education.
She studied Mass Communication for four years on the University’s campus in Abraka.
Janemena therefore holds an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications.
Fame and Career
Janemena first gained fame in 2017 after winning a dance competition organized by Nigerian singer Kcee.
Kcee organised the competition to find dancers for his music video for ‘Dance’ featuring Phyno.
Jane, who is a goddess at tw*rking, won the competition and received the sum of 2m Naira.
That’s how she gained nationwide recognition and she started building a social media following.
She would share short clips of her wild dance performances which quickly started growing viral.
Jane grew her following from around 100,000 to over 2million followers and now to her current total of close to 4million!
Needless to say, her career is going quite well and she’s making a lot of money.

Aside her dance career, she serves as a brand ambassador for several brands including Patricia, who recently sponsored the BB Naija: Shine Ya Eye edition and a hairline brand known as Lishashair.

Personal Life
Jane is married Andre Plies, her long time lover.
They became engaged on February 14th 2019 whilst on vacation in the Maldives after a lengthy courtship.

Scandals have followed Janemena throughout her career due to her tw*rking.
Her most damning one occurred this year.
An audio tape was released online on 16th October 2021, which nearly blew her marriage.
Nigerian politician Prince Kpokpogri bragged on the tape to a female confidante about sleeping with Jane.
According to him, the two of them can spend an entire day with each other just having s*x.
The audio went viral and Nigerians have been questioning the stability of Janemena’s marriage.
Her husband has so far remained mute and not taken any drastic action.
