Cubana Chief Priest was born Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu on March 26th 1982 in Orsu, Imo State.
Pascal was the second child born to Mr and Mrs Okechukwu.
His father was a shoemaker, his mother’s trade is not known.
A famous hotelier, Cubana is the founder and CEO of a chain of hotels and nightclubs in Southern Nigeria.
He owns Club Xhrine, one of the leading and most patronised nightclubs in Nigeria with branches in his home state of Imo State, and Delta State.
Okechukwu also served as the General Manager and Co-Director of the popular Cubana group founded by Obi Cubana.
His massive experience gained in running the nationwide Cubana group served as a stepping stone for his eventual career managing his own establishments.
Cubana Group properties across Nigeria include Rolex Hotels, Cubana Night Clubs, Opium Cubana, Grand Cubana Hotels, Pablo Cubana, and Crave Cubana.
Early Life
Pascal was born in Umuhu Okabia, situated in the Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State.
He was the second child of his parents and has an older sister named Onyinyechi Maryanne.
Named Pascal Chibuike Ikechukwu at birth, Cubana was a staunch Catholic growing up as that was the faith of his parents.
The Chief Priest moved to Aba in Abia State as a child to learn the art of shoemaking at the feet of his father.
Working as an apprentice for many years with his father, he mastered the craft of shoemaking.

Cubana became known as one of the leading promoters in Owerri by the time he completed his studies at the Polytechnic.
His work in school gained him a solid reputation, which helped him get started in his career.

Cubana Chief Priest EFCC
In March 2022, Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested popular celebrity barman Pascal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest.
He was arrested on charges of money laundering and tax fraud.
Cubana was reportedly picked up at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
“We have a popular Instagram socialite in our custody in Abuja. He is known as Cubana Chief Priest. He was arrested on Wednesday, in Abuja on his way to Owerri,” a source told Premium Times Nigeria.
His arrest came a few months after his former boss, Obi Cubana, was also arrested by the EFCC on similar charges.
