Nigerian comedian Gabriel Uzoma escaped assassination after his girlfriend hired armed robbers to kill him.
The jilted ex-lover of the comedian reportedly couldn’t handle the break up and planned to have him killed.
The girlfriend, Victory Kelechi Joseph allegedly hired suspected armed robbers wearing military uniforms to carry out the deed.

They invaded his house in Lagos to kill him.
According to the residents of Uwagboe Street, Ipaja area of Lagos, where Uzoma resides, he narrowly escaped the onslaught because he did not return home that day.
His two friends who were at his house reportedly got brutalised by the armed robbers.

The armed men reportedly invaded the house to attack Uzoma but when they did not find him, they damaged the television, carted away two laptops, a Canon camera and money to the tune of N555, 000 belonging to Uzoma.
Uzoma is apparently safe and sound by virtue of pure luck.
As they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
