Nigerian podcaster and influencer Ogechi Ukonu popularly known as Caramel Plugg has sued several bloggers over allegations she was abused by her boyfriend.
In a letter written by her attorneys, bloggers named in the suit include Tosin SilverdamMedia, Oosha gee, Cutie Jullss and others – including her alleged boyfriend’s sidechick, Shalom.
Caramel and her lawyers are demanding N35 million in damages for ‘defamatory, slanderous and libelous’ statements.
The suit comes after widely reported information from bloggers that Caramel has been routinely abused by her boyfriend Manny, an aide to Burna Boy.
Cutie Juls alleged that Caramel Plugg was reportedly assaulted by her boyfriend, Manny, during a fight in London which even led to a police case.
Blogger Cutie Juls made the revelation after receiving some threats from Manny, who works with Burna Boy, over her recent exposés on him.
News has been trending about Caramel Plugg fighting Shalom, a supposed sidechick of her man.
