Big Brother Titans housemates had their week 10 wager in the house leaving netizens wondering – did the housemates win their wager?

Unfortunately, the Big Brother Titans housemates lost their wager for week 10 after an ‘uninspiring’ performance.

In this article, Nigeriabombshell.com would bring you all the details of the BBTitans wager for week 10.

Big Brother Titans Wager Week 10

The Big Brother housemates made their weekly wager with Big Brother, in which they wager their shopping tokens.

Head of house, Tsatsii, informed Big brother that they were wagering 100% of their tokens just as they did last week.

The theme for this week was communicated to them as ‘money, money, money’.

They were to design a game and presentation on theme to woo Biggie and be declared winners of their wager.

Before everything, Tsatsii, whose previous two stints as head of house (alongside Ebubu as the ROYALS) had seen the housemates lose their wager, vowed not to lose this time.

Did the Big Brother Titans housemates win their week 10 wager task?

The short answer is no – BBTitans housemates have lost their wager for week 10.

The theme this week was “Money, money, money” and the instruction was to showcase a giant board game centered on how the Gen Z-ers are gathering wealth – and what they are spending money on.

The housemates may have thought that they gave it their all during their final wager presentation, but for Biggie it was a different story: he was unimpressed. Not even small brother Thabang could save the day.

According to Biggie, the performance was “low-hanging fruit – unoriginal.”. They got Gen Z’s era wrong and failed to explain how Gen Z spend, and maintain spending.

The downcast housemates immediately turned to the Thursday night pool party to drown their sorrows!

What is the Wager in Big Brother Titans?

Every week, housemates in the Big Brother house are given a task by Big Brother to collectively perform.

The housemates wager (bet) with Big brother over the outcome of the task – usually by declaring a percentage which they all decide on.

The wager percentage (100%) for this week, is added on to the housemates’ shopping allowance if they win whilst it is deducted if they lose.

Hence, a wager win signals a week of plentiful happiness in the house whilst a loss signals a week of hardship and strife.

Big Brother Titans is the joint South African and Nigerian edition of the Big Brother franchise. The theme is “Ziyakhala Wahala”.

The series follows contestants as they live in an isolated house and compete for a cash prize at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by the viewers who vote on their favourite housemates to stay on the show.

The show features housemates from South Africa and Nigeria. The show premiered on 15 January 2023 on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka are co-hosts of the show, and it is sponsored by Flutterwave, Bamboo and Lotto Star.

According to the organizers of the show, MultiChoice, the winner of the season is expected to win a $100,000 (R1.7 million/₦46 million) cash prize.

A virtual audition was held to select contestants for the show from 6 to 22 October 2022. Interested contestants were told to record and submit a two-minute video stating why they should appear on the show.
