The Nigerian who spotted Dele recorded the encounter and shared it online, calling for his family to be found and informed about their son’s condition.

On social media, the video was shared with the caption: “This man, Bamidele Ismail by name, was found in the City Limits Apartments in Carrollton, Dallas, yesterday 2nd April 2023. He lacks coherence💔💔 and he is from Nigeria. He is an American Citizen but Nigerian by birth.

“Please, spread till we see someone that knows him or his relatives. He has some mental disorder. God bless you as you spread and tag the right Authority to look into his case, Thank you 🙏”

Reactions.

Reactions to the video were varied. Some people called for the person who saw him to have simply taken him to the hospital rather than recording him to share online.

He needs a referral to behavioral health , knowing his relatives wont make a difference . After treatment he will talk well and he wont be charged much if he is determined to be destitute or without financial support . just drop him off at the Emergency unit of a Hospital” one netizen said.

When they tell you life is spiritual y’all think it’s a joke. I pray for his healing,” another said.

A third netizen added; “Ooo God someone with a green card couldn’t enjoy his green card. Oooo God have mercy on him,”

A netizen also emerged to give more details about Bamidele Ismail, revealing his background in Nigeria.

“Oh my goodness, this is Dele. He’s born and brought up in Nigeria Ogun state Sagamu precisely,”

Hopefully, his issue can be resolved in the right manner to get him the help he needs!

Meanwhile, Nigerian-trained legal professional in the U.S.A, Chidiebele ‘Dave’ Okafor, has been jailed over $1.6m fraud and other charges.

Chidiebele “Dave” Okafor was sentenced to 34 months in federal prison on March 23 for setting up phony entities, including a Port Chester jewelry business, and manipulating women to funnel $1.6 million in counterfeit checks into bank accounts.

A U.S. District Judge Nelson S. Román also ordered him to pay $380,000 in restitution and submit to three years of supervision after his release.

Please consider me for this second chance sentence of time served, your honor,” Okafor had beseeched the judge in a March 17 letter, “and give me 200 years if you ever see me do anything against the law again.”
