Who was Alvin Dewayne Hall Jr? Oakland County Man Kills Partner, Then Himself in Murder-Suicide

Alvin Dewayne Hall Jr was an Oakland County man believed to have killed his partner, Charnae Jenkins, and then himself in a tragic murder-suicide.

Hall Jr, 29, of Pontiac, shot and killed Jenkins, 33, on Sunday, May 12th, 2024.

He then killed himself with the same handgun. Authorities believe the murder-suicide was the result of a domestic dispute.

At approximately 5:35 pm on Sunday, Oakland County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to a residence at the 1200 block of Maurer, near M-59 and Opdyke, after receiving a 911 call reporting the suspicious deaths of two subjects.

Deputies arrived at the residence and began checking the property.

Their search revealed a deceased man and woman in a hallway inside of the home. A handgun and two spent casings were found.

Investigators determined that 29-year-old Alvin Dewayne Hall Jr. fatally shot 33-year-old Charnae Jenkins before turning the gun on himself – as a result of a domestic dispute.

Jenkins reportedly had children whose mother has now been cruelly taken from them.

The incident remains under investigation.
